Raingutter Regatta

Safety

To ensure the highest level of success and fun in your Regatta® experience, make safety your top priority. Even though Regatta® sailboats do not require carving or use of power tools, there are some safety concerns:
  1. Rubber bands can cause eye injuries; consider eye protection
  2. Monitor Cub Scouts’ use of tools; allow only adults to use power tools
  3. Work in a well-lighted and well-ventilated area
  4. Consider wearing gloves when using sharp tools
  5. Follow all safety rules and precautions listed on the tools and products you use
  6. Keep your work area clean and organized
